Roosters Happen

Sometimes those cute chicks  grow up to be roosters and you cannot to keep them. KIS Farm is not able to take in unwanted roosters, but here are some local options available to you.

Hawthorne Farm, Woodinville: (425)286-5640

Roosters on property eventually become food for the staff,  but they only eat what they can grow.
Roosters will have a very happy home until the end.

Monroe Co-Op: (360)794-4663

Takes roosters as they have space (caged); sell first come first serve.

If you are desperate for a rehoming option, KIS Farm has a program we work with that may also have availability. Email Liz@kisfarm.com for more information.

You may also try Craigslist with an adoption fee, to help weed out meat and fighting inquiries.
